In particular, the limit for duty-free importation of postal items to private individuals has been lowered. From the beginning of the year, without paying taxes and duties, it is possible to send parcels with goods for personal use with a total value of up to 200 euros.

But do not rush to panic, because there is some good news for all the lovers of shopping abroad! Now you do not need to track the total cost of purchases every month, because the monthly limit on the value will be canceled. That is, you can send any number of parcels with a cost of goods up to 200 euros and not pay any duties.

For parcels whose value exceeds the established limit, a tax will be charged, but now the rate will be two times lower than before - 15% of the amount exceeding the limit, but not less than 2 euros per kilogram. Read more about the new customs rules in the article on the work of customs services.
